West Ham and Crystal Palace keen on Liverpool youngster

Liverpool will send Dominic Solanke out on loan in January and West Ham and Crystal Palace are keen on the starlet, claims The Sun.

Solanke has endured a frustrating spell since joining Liverpool from Chelsea in the summer of 2017 and England manager Gareth Southgate has already expressed his concerns about his lack of game time.

The 21-year-old has only started five Premier League matches since joining Liverpool and is yet to feature in a single minute of league action this term.

Jurgen Klopp still rates Solanke highly and will send the England U21 international out on loan in January to get regular football.

Daniel Sturrige’s surprise resurgence has pushed Solanke further down the pecking order at Anfield and West Ham and Palace have been put on red alert by Solanke’s availability.

Palace, in particular, have made signing a new striker a priority in January after struggling for goals this season.

Only Huddersfield (6) have scored fewer goals in the Premier League than Palace (8) this season and manager Roy Hodgson has been forced to play Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend out of position.
