West Ham ponder move for Liverpool outcast

West Ham are considering a £10m move for Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, reports the Sunday Express.

The Italian is currently on loan with Milan, who he left for the Reds 18 months ago.

However, Balotelli's time at the San Siro has been marred by poor form and injury, with Liverpool keen to cash in on the temperamental striker at the first possible opportunity.

The 25-year-old isn't thought to be part of Jurgen Klopp's plans, heightening speculation that he could be on the move once more this month.

West Ham are without key striker Andy Carroll for the next six weeks and with Diafra Sakho still sidelined, Slaven Bilic could move for Balotelli to help ease his side's own injury crisis.

Balotelli has made only four league appearances in Serie A this season, rewarding one goal.
