Tottenham eye second Paris Saint-Germain raid in 12 months
Layvin Kurzawa has been told he can leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and now Tottenham have entered the race for his signature, claims The Daily Mail.
Tottenham are preparing for the exit of Danny Rose at the end of the season and will need to sign a left-back to replace the England international.
PSG need to raise money in order to balance their books following Neymar and Kylian Mbappe’s arrivals last summer.
A number of players are expected to leave the Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season and Kurzawa will be one of the first to be shown the door.
Tottenham signed Serge Aurier from PSG last summer and are now ready to raid the French giants for the second time in 12 months by signing Kurzawa.
The 25-year-old only joined PSG from Monaco in 2015 but has dropped down the pecking order under Unai Emery this season.
Kurzawa has only started 17 Ligue 1 matches this season, sharing the responsibility of playing at left-back with Yuri.
The France international is on course to garner his lowest WhoScored rating in a full league campaign (7.19).
This strikes me as an incredibly bad move by Tottenham. There are much better left-backs out there than Kurzawa
