Marc-Andre Ter Stegen cut a figure of frustration during Barcelona’s World Club Cup success afterbeing forced to watch his teammates from the bench once more, and the World Cup winner is now considering his future at the club, according to Marca.
The 23-year-old joined Barcelona from Gladbach in May 2014 but has been forced to play understudy to Claudio Bravo since then.
Ter Stegen played in every minute of their Champions League success last season, but was made to wait until this campaign before making his La Liga bow.
He looked primed to take on the roles full-time earlier in the season when Bravo was sidelined through injury, but made some errors during his stint in goal and has since found his spot back on the bench, at his displeasure.
In the Champions League this season, only Manuel Neuer (89%) boasts a higher pass success rate of all goalkeepers than Ter Stegen (87.1%)
