Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera insists he is very happy at the club despite suggestions he is looking for showdown talks with manager Louis van Gaal.
Herrera, a fan favourite at the club, has struggled to establish himself in Van Gaal’s team since joining for nearly £30m in 2014.
The Spaniard has been a figure of positivity when on the pitch and there had been reports claiming he would look for talks with Van Gaal regarding his future.
However, the 26-year-old posted a message on his official Twitter account to cool speculation and insists he doesn’t want this dream to end.
Since the start of last season, only Juan Mata (20) and Wayne Rooney (19) have played a direct hand in more league goals than Herrera (14) for United and of those to have featured at least 15 times for United no player requires fewer minutes per tackle than Herrera (27.7 mins).
