Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the signings of Ruben Neves and Willy Boly from Portuguese side FC Porto.
Wolves have been strongly linked with a move for Neves for some time now, with the club on Saturday morning announcing the arrival of the 20-year-old midfielder.
“Wolves are delighted to announce the arrival of highly-rated Portuguese international midfielder Ruben Neves,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
“The 20-year-old defensive midfielder has put pen to paper on a five-year deal after making the switch from Porto.
“Whilst, in line with club policy, the terms of the deal will remain undisclosed, Wolves can confirm it is a club record transfer outlay.”

On the deal, Neves said: “I’m very excited to play at this club. It is a very big club and I hope to help the team to win their goals.
“I have always wanted to play in England and we have a good team. I think we can do good things this season.
“It is also a good opportunity for me to work again with a trainer (Nuno Espírito Santo) I worked with last year.
“I am very excited to start and to play in front of the fans – I love that.”
Later on Saturday morning, Wolves also confirmed the capture of Boly, with a statement from the club reading: “Wolves are delighted to announce the signing of Willy Bolly who joins on a season-long loan from FC Porto.
“Boly spent three years at the Clairefontaine Academy in France where Wolves spent part of pre-season two years ago, before joining Auxerre, emerging through their reserve team.
“In 2014 he moved to Portugal to join SC Braga, then joining Porto last summer, putting pen to paper on a five year contract.
“The French central defender expressed his delight at joining Wolves. he says that playing in England has always been a dream of his.”
26-year-old Boly said of the deal: “I’m happy to come to Wolves, I want to play well with this club and I want to make history here.
“I love this country and I love the football that is played here - I have always wanted to play here in England and now it’s a dream come true for me and now I will hopefully stay here for a long time.”
