Borussia Dortmund have announced Marco Reus will miss the start of next season after suffering a small tear in his left thigh.
Reus, 27, was surprisingly omitted from the Germany squad for Euro 2016 this summer before it later became known it was because of injury.
The Dortmund No.11 hasn’t been at his best in the last two years and has struggled with a string of reoccurring injuries throughout his career, with the latest another setback in his career.
Nevertheless, in the last three Bundesliga campaigns no Dortmund player has created more clear-cut chances than Reus (184).
