Jamie Vardy is set to sign a new and improved three-and-a-half year deal with Leicester City, according to The Guardian.
The England international is currently enjoying the best season in his career and his form in front of goal has been integral behind Leicester’s remarkable campaign that has them three points clear of Manchester City.
Vardy’s form has seen him naturally linked to all of the big clubs in the Premier League over the past few months but he is set to give the Foxes a major boost by signing a new lucrative deal that will improve his current £40,000-a-week wages.
The 29-year-old is currently the joint top goalscorer in the Premier League this season (16), although he has only scored one goal in his last eight matches.
