Milan interested in Leverkusen star

AC Milan are weighing up a January move for Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi, according to Corriere dello Sport, via Football Italia.

Bellarabi, 26, is currently sidelined until next year after suffering a thigh injury in September but was linked with a move away from Leverkusen in the summer.

The Germany international only signed a new five-year deal in February 2015 but Milan are interested in signing the winger in a bid to bolster their squad in the New Year, as they eye European qualification.

Vincenzo Montella’s side will reportedly have fresh investment in time for the January transfer window, with Chinese investors set to complete their takeover of Milan by the middle of November.

Despite only making two appearances this season, Bellarabi has still completed more dribbles in the Bundesliga than any other Leverkusen player since the start of last season (93).
