Arsenal trio face exit

Arsenal midfield trio Tomas Rosicky, Mathieu Flamini and Mikel Arteta are all fighting for their careers at the Emirates, according to the London Evening Standard.

All three have dropped down the pecking order at Arsenal in the last 12 months and Arsene Wenger is reportedly planning for life without them with all of their contracts due to expire at the end of the season.

Rosicky, 35, hasn’t featured for the first-team this season and isn’t likely to be available for consideration until the festive period after undergoing knee surgery.

As for Arteta and Flamini, they’ve only managed a combined 139 minutes from a possible 990 minutes of action in the Premier League this season and their future increasingly looks away from north London, although Wenger is understandably concerned about losing three experienced and loyal servants in one swoop.
