West Bromwich Albion insist they are yet to received any bids for striker Saido Berahino, who has entered the final two years of his contract at the Hawthorns.
Berahino, 21, isn’t expected to renew his deal after revealing to Sky Sports News in February that he was already looking on “to bigger things”.
Tottenham are reported to be frontrunners for the England U’21 international and, according to reports, are readying a bid in the region of £15m.
However, the Baggies are alleged to be holding out for their £20m valuation and insist there have not been any bids for striker.
“Ok, this is getting silly now. So let us make it clear. There has been NO bid for Saido. That’s it. Carry on everyone,” West Brom posted on their official Twitter account.
Berahino has been touted as a future England star following an impressive Premier League campaign, which saw him contribute 37% of West Brom's Premier League goals - only two players scored a higher percentage of their side's goals in England's top-flight last season.
