Bordeaux have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Sunderland for the sale of Wahbi Khazri.
Sunderland have reportedly had an £8.5m offer accepted for the Tunisia international after ending their interest in Swansea forward Andre Ayew.
The Ligue 1 outfit have already lost Henri Saivet to Newcastle this month and the loss of Khazri would represent a huge blow to their ambitions this season.
Khazri, 24, has reportedly already agreed terms to a four-and-a-half year deal with the Black Cats and will now jet in for his medical.
Since the start of the season only two players have created more chances in Ligue 1 than Khazri (54).
