West Brom have confirmed the signing of Nacer Chadli from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
The Belgian had been strongly linked with a move away from White Hart Lane and on Sunday confirmed his switch to Hawthorns.
“Albion can today confirm the signing of Belgium international Nacer Chadli for an undisclosed fee,” a statement read on the club’s official website.
“The 27-year-old forward, capped 32 times by his country, has signed a four-year contract after agreeing to the transfer from Tottenham Hotspur.
“Chadli completed his medical at Spire Little Aston Hospital today to put the finishing touches to a deal which sees him become Albion’s second permanent signing of the summer transfer window.
“Head Coach Tony Pulis was delighted with the deal saying: He’s a top, top player and I’m delighted we’ve got him.
“I said last week that these signings all had to be about players who would improve our squad – and Nacer does precisely that.
“The Baggies latest import said: I feel very good to be here. It came very quickly but I spoke to the Club and they have a good team, a good manager and I am very pleased to be here.
“My ambitions? I just want to help the team win as many games as possible.”
