Barcelona loan star Alen Halilovic will continue developing away from the Camp Nou next season, according to his agent.
Halilovic, 19, has spent the season on loan at league strugglers Sporting Gijon this season but has impressed in and amongst the chaos at the club.
The Croatia international has been billed for big things in the future but he will not be part of Luis Enrique’s first team plans next season, according to Zoran Stojadinovic.
“In no moment have Barcelona considered selling Alen because they believe in him and what they have opted for is to loan him out for another year.”
The creative midfielder has already become a key component of the Gijon team this season despite still being a teenager. He has featured in all but two games this season and only Jony (6) has registered more assists than him (5) for Aberlardo Fernandez’s side.
