Everton manager Ronald Koeman has put an end to speculation linking Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart with a late switch, according to BBC Sport.
Hart, 29, has been made available for transfer following the arrival of Claudio Bravo and the Toffees appeared favourites to sign the goalkeeper.
With Maarten Stekelenburg and Joel Robles at the club many expected Everton to move for Hart, however Koeman has ruled Everton out of the running.
In the last five Premier League campaigns Hart has kept at least nine more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper (60).
