Leicester star signs new deal

Leicester City have announced captain Wes Morgan has signed a new three-year deal with the Premier League champions.

Morgan, 32, was one of only three players that featured in every minute in the Premier League last season.

The Jamaica international has spent the last four years with Leicester after signing from Nottingham Forest in January 2012 and is delighted to extend his stay with the Foxes for another three-years.

“To commit my future to Leicester City is a wonderful feeling. Everyone knows how I feel about playing for this club,” Morgan told the club’s official website.

“Lifting the Premier League trophy was a moment I will never forget and it’s still sinking in. Now we’ve got to give it everything to defend it as well as showing what we can do in the Champions League.”
