Liverpool are interested in making a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, according to the Daily Star.
Ter Stegen, 23, has been forced to accept being an understudy to Claudio Bravo since joining Barcelona last season, with game time limited only to Champions League football.
The Germany international is regarded as one of best young goalkeepers in Europe and Liverpool are reportedly hoping to take advantage of his unsettling position in the Barcelona squad to lure him to Anfield.
They will, however, have to try and haggle Barcelona down on his £56.8m release clause if they are to sign him.
In the Champions League last season, no goalkeeper kept more clean sheets than Ter Stegen (6).
