Wolfsburg will look to offer Memphis Depay with an escape route from his Manchester United hell, according to Bild, via The Daily Mirror.
Memphis, 23, has failed to make any impact since joining United from PSV Eindhoven for £25m in 2015.
The Holland international looks short of any confidence and Wolfsburg are keen to pounce on his uncertainty and offer the winger a move away in January.
Of players to have started in at least 10 Premier League matches since the start of last season Memphis has been dispossessed more frequently than any other player (1 every 20.3 mins).
