Di Maria unhappy at PSG

Angel Di Maria is unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain and appears unlikely to have a long-term future at the club, reports RMC, via Get French Football.

Di Maria has left fans frustrated with his performances this season and the general consensus is they feel the Argentina international could do more to help the Ligue 1 champions get out of their current funk.

The 28-year-old only lasted 12 months at Manchester United after becoming their club record signing in 2014 and is only two years into his stint with PSG, with doubts now cast over his long-term future at the club.

“He is often in a strop, he does not look happy, it is quite wearisome to see a player who is not making an effort to look happy in the changing room,” a source told RMC. “The player does not give off the feeling that he wants to be at the club for the long-term.

“The Argentinian is from now on firmly on the radar of President, Nasser Al Khelaifi. And on the radar of his manager, Unai Emery, who is due to meet with him before the hugh clash with Nice this Sunday.”

Despite his reported struggles this season, only Jean Michael Seri (8) and Morgan Sanson (6) have registered more assists in Ligue 1 than Di Maria (5) this season. When you roll it back to when Di Maria first joined, then the Argentine has registered at least nine more assists than any other player in Ligue 1 (23).
