Manchester United’s stunning £70m bid for Juventus ace rejected
Manchester United have failed with an opening offer of £70m plus Henrikh Mkhitaryan for Juventus star Paulo Dybala, reports The Sun.
Jose Mourinho is no longer interested in signing Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann and has instead turned his attentions to Dybala.
The Argentina international is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the world but has endured a troubled time of late for Juventus.
Dybala is no longer one of the first names on the team and has even dropped down to the bench on several occasions in recent weeks.
United want to take advantage of his current situation but have fallen short with their first offer and have also been told Juventus are not interested in Mkhitaryan.
The Armenia international looks destined to leave United in the next two transfer windows after running out of chances with Mourinho but Juventus will not be his next destination.
Dybala has scored 12 goals in 17 league appearances this season, including two hat-tricks at the start of the campaign. Furthermore, only two Serie A players have a higher WhoScored rating (7.75).
