Italy manager Antonio Conte will look to make Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba his number one transfer target if he is made Chelsea manager in the summer, according to The Daily Mail.
Conte has been widely tipped to step down as Italy head coach after reportedly rejecting the Italian Football Association’s request to hold a meeting to extend his contract.
The former Juventus head coach is one of those to have been touted as the next Chelsea manager and he has reportedly already drawn up a transfer wish list, with Pogba right at the top.
Pogba, 22, has been regularly linked with a move away from Juventus in the last 12 months and Conte, who managed the Frenchman for two years at Juventus, will hope their previous relationship will work in his favour.
Since August 2013, no player has completed more dribbles than Pogba in Serie A (213).
