Bayern Munich ace Douglas Costa has again revealed his future could be away from the Bundesliga outfit as he seeks regular playing time.
Costa, 26, is only into his second campaign at the Allianz Arena but has struggled to have the same impact under Carlo Ancelotti this season than he did when he joined under Pep Guardiola.
The Brazil international has dropped back below Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben in the pecking order for a place out wide and has issued another warning to Bayern that he will leave in the summer if things don’t change.
“I speak to the club often,” The Sun quote Costa as saying in the wake of Bayern’s 5-1 win over Arsenal on Tuesday. “We talk about my situation, if I’ll stay here or if I have to find another team to play for. I’m not always happy here. But soon we will find a situation.”
Costa came off the bench to rub salt in the wounds for Arsenal supporters when he scored the crucial third goal before assisting Arturo Vidal for the final goal on the night in a breathtaking 19-minute cameo.
Despite only starting in 11 league games this season, Costa has still completed more dribbles in the last two Bundesliga campaigns (139).
