Southampton have agreed a deal to sign Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin, according to Sky Sports.
Austin, 26, only has six months left to run on his current deal at Loftus Road and has been heavily linked with a move away since the end of last season.
Ronald Koeman’s side have had a £4m bid accepted for the England striker and Austin is now set to undergo his medical with Southampton, which has proved a stumbling block with previous moves before.
Austin has been in tremendous goalscoring form over the last three seasons for QPR. In fact, he has scored 46 goals in 85 appearances for the Super Hoops, with 18 of those coming in the Premier League last season.
