AC Milan ready blockbuster £45m bid for Arsenal forward
AC Milan are ready to pay Arsenal £45m at the end of the season in order to secure the services of Alexis Sanchez, reports The Daily Express.
Sanchez, 28, is currently stalling on signing a new deal with Arsenal and increasingly looks like he will the Gunners at the end of the season with only 18 months remaining on his existing deal.
The former Barcelona forward will not be short of suitors if Arsenal are forced to cash in on their No.7 in the summer and Milan are keen to pip their European rivals and are ready to offer Sanchez the £250,000-a-week wages Arsenal are reluctant on paying.
Sanchez previously made his name in Serie A with Udinese before earning a big money move to Barcelona, but Milan can expect competition from Juventus, as well as many other sides in Europe.
The Chile international netted both goals in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Hull on Saturday and is now the leading goalscorer in the Premier League this season with 17 goals.
