Chelsea target not interested in Premier League challenge

Chelsea target Antoine Griezmann insists he is happy at Atletico Madrid and has no interest in proving himself in the Premier League.

Griezmann, 24, has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for the past two seasons and Chelsea are suggested to be back in the hunt for the forward to help solve their problems in attack.

However, Chelsea will have to look elsewhere for a new forward after the Atletico No.7 revealed he isn’t interested in a move away from Atletico.

“I do not feel the need to play in Ligue 1, nor in the Premier League, or in Serie A,” Griezmann told Canal Football Club.

“I am in Spain, I’m happy. Life here, football, I like it all.”

Since the start of last season, only Cristiano Ronaldo (58), Lionel Messi (47) and Neymar (36) have scored more goals in La Liga than Griezmann (29).
