Paris Saint-Germain need to cough up €80m for Serie A midfielder
Paris Saint-Germain’s pursuit of Napoli midfielder Allan has slowed as their valuation is less than a half of the Serie A side, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.
Thomas Tuchel is desperate to sign a new midfielder this month with Adrien Rabiot out of the picture and Lass Diarra reportedly close to leaving.
PSG have already been linked with moves for Premier League duo Idrissa Gueye and Abdoulaye Doucoure, while Allan is also a target for Tuchel’s side.
Napoli do not want to sell Allan and have already told the Brazilian’s representatives of their stance, though a fee of €80m (£72m) would be enough.
However, PSG are only willing to pay as much as €50m (£45m) this month and the difference in valuation may put an end to their interest in the 28-year-old.
Allan has won possession in the middle third more times than any other Serie A player since the beginning of last season (235).
50 million is less than half of 80 million? Interesting maths!
