Sevilla have not given up hope of signing Sao Paulo midfielder Ganso despite having a €8m (£6.70m) offer rejected, reports Estadio Deportivo, via Football Espana.
Ganso, 26, has entered the final 12 months of his current deal with the Brazilian giants but any potential deal is made complicated by the fact his image rights are owned by two parties.
Sao Paulo currently own 38% of the Brazilian, while an investment group DIS owns the rest of his rights. New Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli envisages Ganso to play in behind two strikers and hasn’t given up hope of signing him this summer.
In the last four Brasileirao campaigns no player has registered more assists than Ganso (24).
