Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has agreed terms on a new six-year deal ending reports linking him with a move to Barcelona, reports The Daily Mail.
Bellerin, 21, has been heavily linked with a return to boyhood club Barcelona after emerging as one of the best full backs in the Premier League in the last two seasons.
Luis Enrique’s side have been on the market for a new right-back since Dani Alves left in the summer and Barcelona are expected to strengthen that area in January with Aleix Vidal set to leave.
However, the La Liga champions will now have to look at alternative options after being dealt a definitive blow in their pursuit of the talented Arsenal defender.
Bellerin, who had three years left to run on his previous deal, will now reportedly earn £100,000-a-week over the next six years keeping him at the club until 2022.
Since the start of last season no defender has completed more dribbles than Bellerin in the Premier League (82).
