Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has confirmed the Serie A giants are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer.
Ramsey has entered the final six months of his current Arsenal deal and is free to discuss a Bosman transfer with foreign clubs.
The Wales international is expected to hold talks with a number of European giants this month before deciding who to join at the end of the season.
Arsenal have already confirmed Ramsey will not be offered a new deal and Juventus have positioned themselves to sign the 28-year-old.
“He is a great player, he is in a great team like Arsenal and he has played at high levels for many years,” Paratici told Sky Italy, via The Daily Telegraph.
“His contract is going to expire and we are alert to all market situations, it’s our duty, so we are attentive to him.
“This is all to be verified, for now he is an Arsenal player. We are certainly not the only ones in the market.”
Manchester United have also been linked with Ramsey this season but are on the back foot due to the fact foreign clubs can speak to the midfielder now.
Ramsey has made 18 league appearances for Arsenal this season but 10 of those have come from the bench.
Despite a lack of first-team action, Ramsey has still played a direct hand in eight goals in that time (two goals, six assists).
