PSG have made a €50m bid for Inter striker Mauro Icardi, reports Sky Sports.
The Argentine frontman moved to the French side last summer on a season-long loan after being told he could leave by head coach Antonio Conte.
There was an option to make the loan move permanent for €70m, but PSG are now hoping to negotiate that fee down.
Indeed, they have lodged an initial €50m bid for Icardi, with a further €10m on add-ons.
Icardi has impressed in his debut season in France, netting 12 league goals from 20 league appearances to help land a WhoScored rating of 7.15.
The 27-year-old has kept Edinson Cavani out of the PSG XI, but still has two years left to run on his current Inter deal having signed a three-year contract prior to his move to the French side.
And it may prove that Cavani moves to Inter to help ease Icardi's departure, and to soften the blow that may come with Lautaro Martinez's exit.
Martinez has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona and while Inter are reluctant to lose the young striker, Cavani's possible arrival would ease the Argentine's exit.
