Manchester United and Chelsea target linked with China switch
James Rodriguez is the latest star man to be linked with a move to China after his agent Jorge Mendes was pictured with Tianjin Quanjian president Shu Yuhiu, reports the Daily Mirror.
The Colombia international is widely expected to depart Real Madrid either this month or at the end of the season, with Manchester United and Chelsea both potential destinations for the player.
However, Rodriguez could make the switch to the Far East after reported interest from China. Indeed, Hebei Fortune recently rejected claims that have made a £95m bid for the 25-year-old.
Mendes being photographed with Shu Yuhiu has heightened claims that his client could make the move to China his month, while Diego Costa has also been linked with a move to Tianjin Quanjian following his rumoured bust up with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
United and Chelsea are both keen on Rodriguez and will do all they can to convince the Colombian to move to the Premier League at the end of the campaign.
Rodriguez has made just four league starts for Real Madrid this season, with the attacker struggling for game time under Zinedine Zidane.
