Chelsea chasing Lazio winger

Chelsea are weighing up a January move for Lazio winger Felipe Anderson, according to The Daily Mail.

Anderson, 23, was heavily linked with a January move to Manchester United at the start of the year but a bid failed to take shape under Louis van Gaal.

Antonio Conte is reportedly keen to sign more players that can fit into his preferred 3-5-2 formation and is now looking at Anderson following his performances at wingback for Lazio.

The Brazil international, who won gold at the Olympics this summer, won’t come cheap with four years remaining on his existing deal with Lazio.

Of players to start at least 25 games in the last three Serie A campaigns Anderson has required the fewest minutes per successful dribble (1 every 23.9 mins).
