QPR lining up Morrison swoop

QPR are supposedly on the cusp of securing the permanent capture of much-maligned attacker Ravel Morrison.

The 22-year-old signed a pre-contract agreement with Lazio at the turn of the year, but has been training with the Rome team since February after his contract with West Ham was terminated.

However, Morrison is allegedly unhappy in the Italian capital and is hoping for a return to London this summer.

Morrison spent time on loan at Loftus Park during the 2013/14 campaign, where he made 17 league appearances, during which he scored 6 goals and registered 2 assists for the Hoops.

And reports on Thursday evening suggest QPR are keen to take him on again on a permanent basis ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Morrison has not made a league appearance since December 2014, where he appeared as a second half substitute for Cardiff City in their 0-0 draw with Rotherham.
