Louis van Gaal has reportedly blocked Victor Valdes' possible loan move to Newcastle United, reports the Sunday Mirror.
The Spaniard has endured a terrible time at Manchester United, with the goalkeeper frozen out at Old Trafford.
Valdes is keen on a move away from the club, with Newcastle prepared to offer him a way out from his nightmare time in Manchester.
However, Van Gaal has reportedly blocked the 33-year-old's move to St. James' Park, with Valdes still forced to train on his own and banned him from taking part in any of United's games.
