Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen is adamant that Chris Wood is not for sale and any further bids will be rejected by the club.
Wood was been subject of interest from Premier League side Burnley in the last week and Leeds have even rejected a £12m bid from the Clarets.
Sean Dyche has identified Wood as the ideal replacement for Andre Gray, who joined Watford in a £18.5 deal last week, but Leeds manager Christiansen does not want to sell his star striker.
“It’s very important,” the Yorkshire Evening Post quote Christiansen as saying when asked how vital it would be to keep Wood for their promotion push. “There’s no doubt that he’s [not] going to leave.
“They [other clubs] can come in with many bids - of course he’s a good striker - but I want him to stay and if we want to achieve something this season, you cannot sell your best players.”

Wood established himself as one of the most consistent goalscorers in the Championship last season and has already opened his account for the new campaign inside two matches.
In fact, the 25-year-old has scored more goals (28) than any other Championship player since August 2016 (excluding playoffs).
