Paris Saint-Germain striker Jese has hit out at his start to life at the Ligue 1 champions and compared his time so far to his career at Real Madrid.
Unai Emery’s side signed Jese from Madrid in a deal worth a reported €20m (£16.9m) in the summer but the forward has only started one of their four league matches thus far.
The 23-year-old is already unhappy with life at PSG and insists he didn’t join the French giants to sit on the bench like he did during his five years in the Madrid first team.
“The truth is that I didn’t come to Paris to be in the same situation as in Madrid,” Jese told Le Parisien, via AS. “I came with the desire to play every game, despite the fact there are great players here.”
“It was difficult [to leave Madrid] because I was there for ten years, but PSG is a great club and good for my future. I came to win titles and grow as a footballer.”
Jese hasn’t scored a goal or a registered an assist in his 83 minutes on the pitch for PSG this season. He has only had one shot during that time and hasn’t completed a dribble.
