Joe Hart won’t be a transfer target for Premier League side Liverpool in this window or next, reports Sky Sports.
Hart is currently on loan from Manchester City with Serie A outfit Torino, but is a target for a number of English teams at the end of the campaign.
West Ham and Tottenham have both been linked with a move for the 29-year-old, as have Liverpool, but the Reds won’t be firming up their rumoured interest in the England number one.
Jurgen Klopp has called on both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet between the sticks this season with the underwhelming performances of the pair suggesting he may make Hart a number one priority when possible.
Any move that isn’t a return to City or a permanent switch to Torino, however, would see Hart sidelined for the remainder of the campaign as no player can play for two clubs in a single season.
It effectively rules out any move for Hart to any team in January, but Liverpool, despite their goalkeeper uncertainty, won’t look to sign the on-loan shotstopper at the end of the campaign.
