Manchester United told they must offer £75m for midfield target
Manchester United are keen to bolster their midfield even further before long but will need to pay a whopping £75m to secure the services of top target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to The Sunday Express.
The Red Devils are just one of a number of clubs that are thought to be considering a big offer for the giant Serbian, and have reportedly jumped to the front of a queue that includes rivals Manchester City.
The Lazio midfielder was one of the star players in Serie A last season and has begun the current campaign in impressive fashion once again.
The 22-year-old’s height and physicality has been a real weapon for Simone Inzaghi, who has got the best from Milinkovic-Savic both in a central midfield role and further upfield.
The Serbia international, who would join compatriot Nemanja Matic in an imposing midfield should he make the switch to United, scored four goals last season and registered 7 assists.
