Chelsea on alert as target reveals they want Premier League switch

Chelsea have been placed on red alert after long-term target Antoine Griezmann revealed he would be open to a move to the Premier League, according to The Daily Mail.

Griezmann, 24, has been regularly linked with a move to Chelsea in the last 12 months, but the Premier League champions have previously been put off by his £40m price tag.

However, while the France international is still happy at Atletico Madrid, he has reportedly put a move to England at the top of his wish list if he was to leave Diego Simeone’s side.

The Atletico head coach is in the running to replace Guus Hiddink at the end of the season, which would only intensify Chelsea’s interest in the striker.

Over the last three La Liga campaigns, only three players have scored more league goals than Griezmann (50).
