Pogba makes decision on Manchester United future

Paul Pogba has decided he wants to leave Manchester United for the second time in his career, claims AS.

The France international revealed last week that a move to Real Madrid to work under Zinedine Zidane would be a dream.

Pogba was intent on leaving prior to Jose Mourinho’s departure but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival appeared to change his mind.

However, the 26-year-old has now made a u-turn on his United future and will seek a summer move in order to fulfil his ambitions.

United are currently fighting for a top-four finish and Pogba wants to challenge for league and European honours.

Pogba’s current deal is due to expire in the summer of 2021 and has reportedly already turned down an offer of a new contract.

Madrid is the most likely destination for the United ace, but former club Juventus are also still interested in the 2018 World Cup winner.

Pogba has remarkably played a direct hand in 20 league goals (11 goals, nine assists) from central midfield this season.

In fact, Pogba’s goals and assists have earned United an extra 19 points this season. Only Eden Hazard has earned Chelsea more points (20) than Pogba for United in the Premier League this term.
