Manchester United eye shock £20m move for Bundesliga midfielder

Manchester United are one of three Premier League sides monitoring £20m-rated Hoffenheim midfielder Nadiem Amiri, reports The Sun.

The 21-year-old has established himself as a first-team regular for Hoffenheim this season and his performances have caught the eye of United, Arsenal and Tottenham.

All three sides are reportedly weighing up a January move for the Germany U21 international, although it remains to be seen whether there is a deal to be made midway through the season.

Amiri mainly occupies a central midfield position for Hoffenheim, but has played in advanced areas at times for the Bundesliga outfit.

Despite his tender age, only three Hoffenheim players has scored or assisted more Bundesliga goals in the last three campaigns than Amiri (18).
