PSG make third signing of the summer

 

PSG have made their third signing of the summer after announcing the capture of right-back Thomas Meunier. 

 

The 24-year-old has penned a four-year deal for the French champions after impressing for Belgium at Euro 2016. 

 

The defender joins from Club Bruges and following his move to Paris, told the club’s official website: “I am very honored to have been chosen by Paris Saint-Germain to come and bolster a squad that already features a number of great players. 

 

“I signed for Paris because I have a huge desire to keep improving, experience at the highest level and win titles. I can’t wait to play in the fantastic Parc des Princes stadium.”

Meunier made four appearances for Belgium at Euro 2016 to secure a WhoScored rating of 7.25 and ranked second for tackles per game (2.8) of those to feature for the Red Devils in the competition.

 

He arrives following the summer captures of Hatem Ben Arfa and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
