The agent of Robert Lewandowksi has admitted he has held talks with Real Madrid over a possible move this summer, reports Sky Sports.
The Poland international has been linked with a big money switch during the transfer window, despite having three years left to run on his current deal with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
However, the player and club supposedly failed to agree terms over an extension in April, heightening speculation over a possible move away from the Allianz Arena.
Lewandowski has routinely been linked with a move to Real Madrid and his agent, Cezary Kucharski, has now revealed that he has held talks with the La Liga giants.
"Real Madrid contacted us a few weeks ago, we listened to everything they said. It's a big and exciting club," Kucharski told German magazine Spiegel.
"We have informed FC Bayern that we've held talks with Real Madrid."
Lewandowski played a key role in Bayern's title triumph, netting more goals (30) than any other Bundesliga player this season.
