Liverpool have entered the race to sign Fiorentina midfielder Mario Suarez, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Premier League rivals Watford were linked with a move for the 28-year-old but the Hornets could now face stiff competition from Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp seeks to bolster his injury hit squad.
Suarez is reportedly looking for a way out of the Stadio Artemio Franchi despite only signing over the summer.
Jurgen Klopp is suggested to favour a loan deal with a view to a permanent deal for the ex-Atletico Madrid midfielder.
Of players to have made at least five appearances in Serie A this season, only Matias Fernandez (95.3%) has a better pass success rate than Suarez (92.6%).
