Tottenham eye move for former Manchester United striker
Tottenham are monitoring Joshua King’s progress with a view to moving for the Bournemouth forward in the summer, reports The Daily Mirror.
King has enjoyed a stunning 2017 and is arguably now the first name on the teamsheet for Eddie Howe, with his performances now putting him on the radar of Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The Tottenham manager is expected to invest heavily in the summer after falling short of the Premier League title for the second season in a row and King could be one of several forward additions.
King’s current Bournemouth deal isn’t due to expire until 2020 and the Cherries will reportedly look to fetch in excess of £15m for the former Manchester United striker, which would be a great deal for Tottenham given his form and the state and the current market.
In 2017 only Romelu Lukaku (14) and Harry Kane (13) have scored as more goals than King in the Premier League (12).
