Juventus are interested in triggering a €25m (£21m) release clause in Patrik Schick’s contract before loaning him straight back to Sampdoria next season, reports TV station Primocanale, via Football Italia.
Schick, 21, has thoroughly impressed for Sampdoria this season despite being forced to make the most of his season with appearances off the bench and his performances have also caught the interest of the likes of Inter, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Juventus are looking to hoover up the best young talent in Serie A and want to strike a deal similar to the one that saw them sign Mattia Caldara from Atalanta during the January transfer window before loaning him straight back until the end of next season.
Schick, a full Czech Republic international, is only enjoying his first taste of Serie A football this season after joining Sampdoria from Sparta Prague last year but he has thrived for Marco Giampaolo when called upon.
In fact, despite only starting seven games this season only Fabio Quagliarella (11) has scored more Serie A goals for Sampdoria this season than Schick (8). Moreover, six of those have come from his 18 substitute appearances, at least two more than any other player in the league.
