Monaco have announced they have signed Rennes winger Adama Diakhaby on a five-year deal until June 2022.
Diakhaby enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign for Rennes and has now joined the Ligue 1 champions in a deal worth a reported €10m (£9m).
The French youngster is the seventh signing Monaco have made this summer and the sixth arrival aged 23 or under.
Leonardo Jardim’s side have already made nearly £150m in player sales and are making an effort to secure the next wave of talent coming through in Europe, which includes 21-year-old Diakhaby.
Of players that made at least 10 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, only Hatem Ben Arfa (6.2) and Allan Saint-Maximin (4.9) completed more dribbles per 90 than Diakhaby (4.1).
