Manchester United to follow up Lukaku arrival with Tottenham ace
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is demanding executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward follow up the signing of Romelu Lukaku with the capture of Eric Dier from Tottenham, according to the Daily Mirror.
United agreed a fee for Lukaku on Saturday before confirming his capture on Monday and Mourinho is eager to follow up the Belgian’s arrival with the signing of Dier from Spurs.
The England international was heavily linked with a move to United in January, though Mourinho’s side were rebuffed in their attempts to lure Dier to Old Trafford.
However, they are prepared to try their luck again this summer, with United set to make a £60m move for the 23-year-old.
Spurs are adamant that Dier is not for sale at any price, but Mourinho is not giving up on the defender and is hoping that a £60m bid may convince the north London side into selling one of their prized assets.

Dier made 34 league starts for Spurs last season and made the second most accurate long balls (187) of all outfield players in the Premier League last term.
I thought Mourinho was a manager who was great because he didn't need to spend money to win titles. Oh wait...
Pls, Mourinho! Lukaku is an improvement but this guy is NOT! "United set to make a £60m move for the 23-year-old" Are you crazy????
