Rashford set to replace Kane in England fold

Marcus Rashford is in line to replace Harry Kane in the England set-up for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia, reports The Daily Mail.

Kane has been ruled out for foreseeable future with ankle ligament damage and is almost certainly set to miss England’s next round of matches at the start of October.

Sam Allardyce opted to leave Rashford out of his first England squad for the 1-0 win over Slovakia at the start of this month for the teenager to instead feature for the Under-21s.
