Bayern Munich have confirmed left-back Juan Bernat has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year deal until 2021.
New head coach Thomas Tuchel has been on the market for a player capable of playing left-back all summer and has moved for Bernat after missing out on Atletico Madrid ace Filipe Luis.
PSG reportedly agreed personal terms with Luis but failed to agree a fee with Atletico, who didn't want to sell the Brazil international.
Bernat has spent the last four years at Bayern but has struggled for regular playing time during that period, only starting more than 13 league matches in a single-campaign on one occasion.
PSG sold Yuri Berchiche earlier this summer and Layvin Kurzawa is deemed surplus to requirements by Tuchel, meaning Bernat, who has cost a reported €15m, should establish himself as PSG's first choice left-back.
The Ligue 1 champions were also pursuing Bayern centre-back Jerome Boateng but Niko Kovac's side have confirmed he will stay at the club this season.
Only Niklas Sule (92.7%) had a better pass success rate than Bernat (92.5%) of all Bayern players in the Bundesliga last season.
